This is a great way to learn about the records and help make these records more accessible. The records are all in English.
Does one need to know Chinese to transcribe these records? Jill

You do not need to know Chinese to transcribe these records. The documents were translated to English when they were created. Go to the link listed above to find out all about the project.

This is a project you can do from home. Check out the above link to see how many hours you need to commit to it. You may be able to fit it into your schedule before you retire. It would be a great way to learn about the files.
