The Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum is a beautiful facility and has so much history–the Chinese, Native American, and early Caucasian pioneers. Everyone I met was really into history.

This is good to know. I had never heard anything about Chinese in the Dalles. I am trained as a professional archeologist. I do know of some old Chinese homesites above the Humboldt dig in Canyon City but nobody is interested. Are you?
